Radon is a cancer causing, radioactive gas that you cannot see, smell, or taste. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer.
Radon comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water and finds its way into homes through cracks and holes in the foundation, construction joints, and plumbing fixtures.
In addition to Radon, Your home air quality analysis will include testing for Total Volatile Organic Compounds TVOC, HCHO which is a formaldehyde that is emitted from paint, glues, textiles and wood products. These gases can be dangerous to humans and pets.
